MotorWerks Managing Director and Creative Director, Bruce Morrison is also the founder and MD of MotorActive with 30 years’ experience in the retail and trade segments of the automotive aftermarket.

Bruce has led the charge with stand-out brands like Meguiar’s, Mobil 1 and new platform CarMechanica and now gets to have two jobs.
Bruce has teamed up with Dale Brittain, Founder and MD of DBC2 who are digital marketing and strategy experts based in Melbourne, also specialising in automotive. Dale has 25 years’ experience in the industry and works with some of Australia’s leading aftermarket businesses. Dale will take on a part time role in MotorWerks as Executive Director.

MotorWerks will also see four highly experienced specialists transfer from the MotorActive marketing team, collectively forming an automotive brains trust. We call it The Power House.

Bruce Morrison

With a lifelong passion for all things automotive, Bruce served a fitter machinist apprenticeship, then moved into sales and marketing before founding Meguair’s Australia in 1990. Now MotorActive, Bruce remains Managing Director and sole owner. With 30 years’ experience, he has successfully marketed and distributed a number of leading global brands including Meguiar’s and Mobil. With a hands-on approach, he’s spearheaded the development and introduction of several private brands such as ColorSpec – all the while actively driving key relationships with Australia’s largest automotive aftermarket retailers.

Dale has over 35 years automotive marketing experience and has led Australia’s largest aftermarket marketing agency for the past 20 years. During this time he has worked with some of the biggest global and domestic aftermarket brands. Dale is a regular industry key note speaker on digital marketing, is a former Vice President of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and holds a number of Board Advisory roles within auto aftermarket companies.
